OTA test engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Create and maintain detailed OTA vehicle test specifications based on system requirements, functional specifications, and OTA concepts
• Analyse requirements and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing acceptance criteria to improve testability and validation coverage
• Develop, implement, and execute OTA validation test cases for vehicle software updates across different vehicle platforms and ECU domains
• Conduct vehicle test drives to validate OTA update functionality, robustness, customer-relevant use-cases, and real-world operating conditions
• Configure, execute, and maintain automated vehicle-level test scenarios and test scripts
• Document test procedures, test results, defects, and validation evidence in compliance with quality and traceability requirements
• Ensure timely creation, tracking, prioritization and closure of issues identified during testing activities
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure a complete OTA validation coverage

Your profile

• Experience in automotive software testing, vehicle validation, and OTA update technologies
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architectures and software deployment processes
• Experience in deriving test cases and specifications from requirements and system specifications
• Experience with automotive test automation tools and practical experience with vehicle testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis in real vehicle environments
• Understanding of communication protocols and diagnostics
• Familiarity with defect management and issue tracking tools and experience with test management and traceability solutions
• Knowledge of ASPICE-based verification and validation processes
• Valid driving license and willingness to perform vehicle test drives
• Very good English skills
