Your tasks
- Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for coding & marking equipment in line with company strategy, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Translate market needs into clear, prioritized product requirements and collaborate with System Engineering, R&D, and Project Management to bring them to life.
- Manage the lifecycle of existing products (positioning, pricing, differentiation, cost and quality improvements, obsolescence management, phase-out).
- Monitor competitors and market trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
- Collect and formalize product requirements, build business cases, and present proposals to decision-making bodies.
- Work closely with R&D, System Engineering, and Project Management to ensure smooth implementation of product requirements.
- Support Sales teams and distributors with product expertise and training.
- Define and monitor KPIs for your product portfolio, conduct product line reviews, and contribute to process improvements.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing with strong technical affinity.
- 5+ years of experience in product management in an industrial B2B environment.
- Proven track record in managing product lifecycles (roadmap, launches, improvements, phase-outs).
- Strong understanding of product development processes and business case analysis.
- Basic marketing knowledge (segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis).
- Experience with AI tools is a plus.
- Proficient in ERP/CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; customer-oriented and analytical mindset.
- Fluent in English; proactive and results-driven.
- Based in Tuttlingen; willingness to travel occasionally.
