For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.
As a Quality Assurance Manager for the Design Office, you will ensure process compliance in the development of civil and military helicopters and systems. You will prepare quality assurance plans, support technical design reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
Your tasks

• Ensure process compliance in the development of civil and military helicopters and systems
• Coordinate and align activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Work closely with the Design Office, DOA management, innovation and quality functions
• Prepare a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
• Prepare and participate in technical design reviews to ensure compliance with the relevant plans
• Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
• Collaborate and interact with various departments and organisations, particularly helicopter programmes and certification teams

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable discipline
• More than three years of professional experience in each of development and quality assurance; experience in aerospace development is desirable
• Good project management skills and experience with design reviews
• Good knowledge of system development processes using the V-model
• Knowledge of configuration management principles; knowledge of lean management is advantageous
• Business-fluent English; German is advantageous
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, together with conflict-resolution skills
• Sensitivity when working with international partners and the ability to work in an international context with strong networking skills
