Job Overview
We are looking for a driven Sales Manager to develop and execute global sales strategies that expand Packfeeder and Rotzinger Group’s presence in international markets. This role will focus on building strong customer relationships, closing high-value deals, and promoting our innovative, patented industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented professional with a passion for business development and global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in business development by identifying potential markets and clients, visiting them to establish long-term relationships.
- Generate offers, negotiate, and close international sales deals with global leaders in the industry, establishing necessary bilateral relationships with partners and local actors. All of this will be done autonomously, with full support from the company’s commercial and technical teams.
- Attend international trade fairs and collaborate in leading marketing and communication activities, as well as working jointly with the engineering, production, automation, operations, and customer service teams.
- Promote a clear technological differentiation and exclusivity that comes with selling a globally patented product, expanding the current portfolio of international clients, from major global accounts to local manufacturers with high-value-added products.
- Focus on the business development of Packfeeder as a priority, leveraging the company's resources and utilizing group synergies to increase presence and client acquisition numbers.
- Enhance international presence and positioning as a reference supplier of integrated lines for the Rotzinger Group, collaborating with sales teams in other divisions.
- Supervise, motivate, and train the Packfeeder sales team, focusing on operational efficiency and excellence.
- Regularly report to Packfeeder senior management on sales activity progress.
- Collaborate with Service to ensure market and opportunistic synergies are leveraged between both teams.
- Work with Project Management to ensure the success and proper development of FAT validations within Packfeeder.
- Actively participate in SOP sessions with General Management and Operations, CDE sessions, and any corporate activities as a key figure in the commercial area of Packfeeder.
Requirements
Education
- A university degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields.
- Additional training in sales or international business is a plus.
- Certifications or courses in sales management or international sales are valued.
Experience
- More than 5 years of experience in packaging or industrial machinery.
- Requires approximately 40% travel to meet clients, explore new markets, and attend industry events.

- Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to close high-value deals and manage complex sales processes.
- Business Development: Proactive in identifying and exploring new markets and business opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.

- Market Analysis: Ability to assess market trends and identify potential growth areas.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working with teams across different departments, such as marketing, engineering, and operations.

- Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of the machinery industry and technical products, with the ability to present them effectively to clients.
