Scientific Project Manager (m/f/d)
Your mission
We are seeking a Scientific Project Manager (m/f/d) to act as the primary technical liaison between NVision’s scientific milestones and our broader customer and partnership ecosystem.
This role will oversee the management of global, multi-partner projects and consortia, lead strategic clinical and research collaborations in the post-grant phase, and conduct high-level scientific evaluations of timelines, feasibility, risks, and contingency plans. A key aspect of the position is a strong shift from broad marketing and pre-sales support toward assertive project leadership, with a clear focus on delivering scientific outcomes and coordinating complex, high-impact collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic clinical and research collaborations following funding awards, ensuring scientific progress and alignment across partners
- Manage multi-partner projects and consortiums, including milestones, deliverables, agreements, and stakeholder communication
- Track priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Jira), focusing on high-impact scientific outcomes
- Translate complex imaging science into clear materials for scientific, clinical, commercial, and funding audiences, including publications, abstracts, conference materials, and external communications
- Coordinate cross-functional input from FAS, Product, Marketing, and external partners
- Drive scientific programs and community initiatives (e.g., workshops, committees, collaborative networks)
Your profile
- PhD in Medical Physics, or a related field
- Experience in hyperpolarized 13C MR imaging is an advantage
- Strong experience managing complex projects and multi-stakeholder collaborations
- Ability to lead initiatives independently and deliver under tight deadlines
- Experience working in cross-functional or Agile environments
- Proactive, organized, and confident communicator with a customer-oriented mindset
- Strong track record in scientific writing.
- Excellent English communication skills; German is considered an advantage
- Familiarity with grant funding landscapes (e.g., NIH, EU funding programs) is considered an advantage
