Your role as Freight Forwarder Road (all) -Dispatcher!

As a dispatcher in the field of road transport, you are the indispensable support of our team at the Weiterstadt site. Your role is extremely versatile: You actively support the road department in the operational processes of our land transport. You are the interface between customers and our operations team and ensure a smooth flow of deliveries.

Requirements

• Education: Successfully completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Shipping Agent / Forwarder Road Freight, Bürokaufmann/-frau, or comparable qualification).
• Experience: Professional experience as dispatcher in national and international transport is an advantage
• Know-how: Knowledge of land transport is required; knowledge of sea and air freight is a big plus.
• Languages: Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English skills (for international correspondence).
• Skills: Organizational talent, structured and conscientious working style, teamwork ability, and a strong service orientation.
• IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally experience with a CRM system.

Our offer

• Your Main Responsibilities: Operations Support (Focus on Road Transport)
• Order Handling: Recording, monitoring, and documenting road transport orders (LTL/FTL).
• Coordination: Close cooperation with carriers and hauliers to ensure punctual pick-up and delivery.
• Document Management: Creation and control of all relevant transport documents (e.g., waybills, delivery notes).
• Troubleshooting: Processing irregularities and handling ad-hoc requests in the daily road transport operations.

Step 2: Review applications
Once we receive your application, we will begin processing it. We aim to respond within two weeks. If we have become enthusiastic about your submitted application, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Of course, it is also possible that you will be rejected based on the assessment, in which case we will send you an email. Within the framework of the GDPR, we will then destroy the cover letter, CV and mail after completion of the application process.
Step 3: Introduction interview
The introductory interview normally takes place with the direct supervisor and an HR Specialist. During this orientation interview we try to get a good impression of you as a person and your capabilities and see if you could become the new colleague within MOL Logistics. Step 4: Follow-up interview
If the introductory interview is positive for both parties, we will ask you for a follow-up interview. This interview will basically take place with a (future) direct colleague and another HR Specialist. We will go deeper into the content of the position and your capabilities and motivation. An assessment or other test by a third party may be part of the procedure. Depending on the position, another interview may take place.
Step 5: Contract proposal
When we are convinced of your qualities, we will make you an offer to join us. This offer will detail the terms of employment.
